memovu Business — who is it for? Small organisations with one to three TVs and an Android tablet: care homes and social care, practices and waiting rooms, photo studios, wedding venues and event rooms, nurseries and councils. memovu is not made for meeting rooms, schools with many rooms or signage fleets.

Install memovu on your Android phone. On a Fire TV (with Fire OS), add the free memovu app — Chromecast and DLNA TVs need nothing extra.

Scan the QR code shown on your TV — once. After that, memovu reconnects automatically.

Your photos don't go to the internet.
memovu has no servers, no account, no sign-up and no analytics of our own. Your photos and videos go directly from your phone to your TV and stay on your home network — there is nowhere for the app to upload them to. License codes are verified offline on your device, too.
To be honest: the control connection to the memovu app on Fire TV is encrypted (TLS with certificate pinning). The photos and videos themselves currently travel unencrypted on your home network, protected by a secret access key — fine on your own password-protected Wi-Fi; on third-party networks, use your phone's hotspot. And two Google components (purchases through Google Play, Google Cast) may send technical diagnostic data to Google; in the web video browser Google Safe Browsing checks the addresses you open. Everything else is in the privacy policy.
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no fonts or trackers from third-party servers.

FAQ
Which TVs does memovu work with?
Best with a Fire TV with Fire OS (e.g. Fire TV Stick 4K Max, older sticks, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV smart TVs) and the free memovu app from the Amazon Appstore — not with the new Vega OS sticks (4K Select, Stick HD 2026, 4K 2026), which cannot install the app. Also with Chromecast and Google TV, and with Samsung, LG and other DLNA-capable TVs, including older models; there, photos, videos and slideshows work, but not photo frame, music, shared album, mirroring, 4K or event mode. Does memovu work on Fire TV Stick 4K Select, Stick HD (2026) or Stick 4K (2026)?
Not yet. These sticks run Vega OS instead of Fire OS, and the memovu app cannot be installed there. We are looking into a dedicated version; there is no date yet. memovu works today with Fire OS devices such as Fire TV Stick 4K Max, older Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV smart TVs.
Does memovu need internet?
No. Photos and videos travel directly from your phone to your TV through your local Wi-Fi — never through anyone's servers. It even works entirely without internet, e.g. via your phone's hotspot. Only the optional web video feature (videos from websites on your TV, Pro) naturally loads content from the internet (with Google Safe Browsing), and two Google components (purchases through Google Play, Google Cast) may send diagnostic data to Google when internet is available.
What's free — and stays free?
Showing single photos and videos (unlimited, all connection types), slideshows up to 30 photos, Memories, and 1080p quality. Screen mirroring (with Fire TV): 15 minutes a day free, unlimited with Pro and during the 48-hour trial. Only time actually spent mirroring counts; the app warns you two minutes before the end, and the next day you get 15 minutes again. No ads, no watermarks. These limits are stated honestly here and in the store listing.
What does Pro cost?
Pro is a one-time purchase (pay once, no expiry) for €19.99, an introductory price until 31 Dec 2026, then €24.99€24.99; or a plan for €9.99 a year or €2.49 a month. Plans renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime in Google Play before they renew. Updates until at least 31 Dec 2031; what "no expiry" means is set out in our Terms of Use (section 4). Try Pro free for 48 hours without payment details — the trial starts by itself with the first photo or video on your TV, ends by itself, and nothing can be charged. Pro includes photo frame mode, music slideshows, unlimited slideshows, shared album, mirroring without a daily limit with quality presets, 4K/original quality and website videos on the TV. Photo frame, music, shared album, mirroring and 4K need the memovu app on a Fire TV with Fire OS. Pro from Google Play is a license for private use.
May I use memovu in my business?
Yes. You may use the free features commercially. Pro from Google Play (one-time, yearly, monthly) is a license for private use. For commercial use of Pro features — e.g. in a care home, practice, shop, venue, studio or at paid events — there is the Event Pro license (for photographers, DJs and rental companies) and memovu Business (site license for up to three TVs), both bought on invoice directly from memo labs and ending by themselves after 12 months. Showing family photos with your own phone when visiting someone in a care home is private use.
How does event mode work on venue Wi-Fi?
Guests scan a QR code and upload photos directly to the host's phone — everything stays on the local network. Honest answer on the tech: some hotel and venue networks isolate guest devices from each other ("AP isolation") — then phones can't see each other. The reliable fix: use the host phone's hotspot. That works everywhere, even with no internet at all.
Can I cancel the subscription anytime?
Yes, directly in Google Play — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; Pro stays active until then. The core feature stays free afterwards. The 48-hour trial is not a subscription at all: it ends by itself because no payment details are stored. The Event Pro license, 5-pack and memovu Business are not subscriptions either and end by themselves.
